Who we are
Welcome to Casa Werk — a vibrant home for jewelers to create, connect, and shine.
Founded by a Colombian–German duo of metalsmiths, Casa Werk is where craft meets community. Our studio blends clean, minimal design sensibilities with a colorful, high-vibe atmosphere (yes, there’s a disco ball). We believe jewelry-making should be joyful, inspiring, and collaborative — not something you have to do alone.
Casa Werk offers memberships with access to shared tools, workbenches, and a supportive community of fellow makers. It’s also a place for learning and growth, with workshops and classes designed to help jewelers at every stage hone their craft.
Think of Casa Werk as your creative home base: part professional studio, part collective, and all heart.
NKB Jewelry Co.
Nykia Barton
Hey y’all, I’m Nykia—a Texan living in Seattle! I’ve been making jewelry since January 2024, and I’ve loved every moment of this journey. It all started when I stumbled upon an intro jewelry-making class with my friend Carolina, and I was instantly hooked. I’ve always loved crafting for the relaxation and joy it brings, and metalsmithing quickly became my favorite form of creative expression.
In 2025, I launched NKB Jewelry Co., my first jewelry line, where I create unique, vibrant, handmade pieces that celebrate love, joy, and connection. Each design is inspired by the people and moments that shape me, and every piece is made with the hope of bringing that same spark to you.
Together, Carolina and I are working to build Casa Werk—a creative community for jewelers and hobbyists alike—because we believe creativity is better when shared.

Carolina Londoño
Hey! I’m Carolina (kah-rroh-LEE-nah), a Colombian-American artist and Miami native. I’ve been a jeweler for 10 years and working professional for 4 - as the lead jeweler at Stórica Studio I have the honor of crafting fine heirloom pieces that will hopefully live on for generations.
I started in an intro to metalsmithing class like the ones I now teach: it truly felt like alchemy the first time I soldered metal, and sparking that wonder in others has become my new favorite thing about smithing.
Metalsmithing is an overwhelming craft to get into, but I’m of the mind that you can learn a lot without diving into a pricey workbench setup. I got my start with thrifted/basic hardware store tools and I believe this level of scrappiness made me a strong craftsperson.
I also worked in isolation for many years out of my home studio, but became an exponentially better jeweler when I started working in a shared studio space. I’m so lucky to have met Kia who shares my same love for building a community - come join us in this joyous space we’ve built!
